1. Almost without exception no purchase is necessary to enter a contest on WJAG AM.

2. Eligibility for prizes on WJAG AM requires that you not have won anything on WJAG AM in the past 30 days, or won any prize whose value is $600.00 or more in the past year. Some WJAG AM contests may have specific rules that may amend this eligibility requirement. These rules will be regularly aired on WJAG during contest periods. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a prize has been won. Prizes will be retained for winners for 30 days after the winning day. Prizes not claimed in that 30 day period will be returned to inventory for another contest. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

3. Listeners calling the WJAG AM studio after an on-air announcement of a contest will assume that your call will be broadcast or recorded for later playback. As a winner of a WJAG AM contest, your voice, name and/or picture may be used for promotional purposes on airwaves, in promotional print pieces or for our Internet websites at www.wjag.com or www.kexl.com.

4. Prizes awarded are not redeemable for cash and are nontransferable. No substitution for a prize will be made at the request of a winner; however, WJAG AM reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value.

5. Contest winners are responsible for all taxes on prizes awarded. Winners of a prize valued at $600.00 or more will be required to complete an IRS Form 1099 at the WJAG AM studio prior to claiming the prize. Likewise, all winners will be sent a 1099 MISC federal tax form if their individual aggregate winnings exceeds $600 in a given calendar year.

6. Any contest winner subject to, or the subject of any order or legal process issued by any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the affairs of the winner (i.e.; garnishment, child support order, judgment, lien, etc.), WJAG AM's delivery of the prize to the official representative of the governmental entity claiming a right to the prize shall be deemed the same as WJAG AM awarding the prize to the winner. WJAG AM shall be entitled to rely in good faith, upon any legal identification of said representative or agent seeking to collect the prize. WJAG AM shall not be liable for any falsified claims by claimant or associated damages.

7. All WJAG AM contests are open to all eligible U.S. residents, 18 or over unless otherwise specified. Furthermore, contestants must possess a valid form of identification bearing the picture of the contestant and presented to WJAG AM before the prize is awarded.

8. Winners will be expected to claim their prize at the WJAG AM studio, 309 Braasch Ave., Norfolk, NE during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, within the aforementioned 30 days following winning the prize unless there is an earlier expiration specifically outlined.

9. WJAG AM reserves the right to amend the rules to any contest at any time. The judges decision is always final.

10. WJAG AM, their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of station employees full-time or part-time are not eligible to win any contest.

11. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Contest is void where prohibited.

12. WJAG AM reserves the right to disqualify any winner if any contest rules are violated in any way.

13. WJAG AM, advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees, and immediate families of each absolve themselves and shall be held harmless from any action or liability arising from any contest or prize awarded in any contest.

14. WJAG AM takes seriously its role as a trustee of the public airwaves and reserves the right to interrupt or discontinue any contest and not award prizes offered if doing so would violate that public trust or public safety.

15. For any contest requiring phone entry, we ask that you use only those contest numbers provided over the air. Callers to any other number will redirected to call the specified number(s) for the contest. WJAG AM has the final decision as to who is the winning caller.

16. WJAG AM shall have no responsibility for failure to win or claim a prize based upon difficulties with or failure of telephone, facsimile, e-mail, or Internet difficulties, or any circumstance in any contest.

17. All contests requiring registration shall require contestants to comply with all posted rules of the contest and fill out specified fields of information completely. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
